Beneath the Surface
In June, a group of New Brunswick craftspeople immersed themselves in the wonders of Fundy National Park for five days. They were given the time and space to develop new ideas as they experienced the natural landscapes of New Brunswick, stimulated by scientific processes that shape and change the natural world.
These artists have pushed the boundaries of their regular practice and undertaken substantial, ambitious work which will tour various galleries in New Brunswick.
Thank you to Brett MacFadyen for his expert photographic documentation of all the artwork.
This project was created in partnership with Parks Canada. Craft NB would also like to acknowledge the generous support of the Province of New Brunswick.
