New Brunswick Artisans Nouveau-Brunswick

Are you an emerging craftsperson interested in wholesaling your work? In partnership with Government New Brunswick, Craft NB will showcase emerging craftspeople at the New Brunswick Artisans Nouveau-Brunswick booth at the Craft East Buyers’ Expo, February 8 and 9 2020 in Halifax, NS. Space is limited; applications due November 29!

Please provide 5 electronic images of your product (for Craft East jurying committee), and a 1 page biography with this completed registration to Craft NB on or before November 29 to:

Important Information:

Craft NB will be responsible for all costs directly related to the booth, for developing professional marketing materials, advertising, and organizing a full day wholesale readiness workshop (Dec 10, location TBA).  A participant fee will be required if your application is accepted:

  • First Year Applicant: $200 + HST
  • Second (Returning) Applicant: $240 + HST
  • Third (Returning) Applicant: $280 + HST

Participants’ commitments** will include attending the wholesale workshop (Tuesday, Dec 10 Location TBA, $30 fee), staffing the booth during show hours, shipping products, set-up and tear-down of their product and assisting with booth, and responsibility for travel arrangements, accommodations and meals. You do not need to be juried member of Craft NB to apply, but you are required to pay a 2020 General ($50+HST). The images and the Bio you submit will be used to create a profile for you on Craft Alliance portal which will then be used to jury you in, solely for Craft East participation, this does not make you eligible for Craft NB juried membership in anyway.

** Workshop is not mandatory for Second and Third Year Participants but are encouraged to attend.
